We are looking for Historic Interpreters (Docents) to help connect our visitors to the past. The main function of Historic Interpreters is to give guided house tours of our 1815 home. Additionally, you may have the opportunity to be involved in both educational and outreach programming along with special events. Be part of the team that cares for our nine acres of gardens, grounds, and big trees museum. You’ll work outside with heirloom plantings, formal gardens, and a wide variety of shrubs and trees. Volunteer positions are ALWAYS available!
We are always seeking volunteers. If you have the time, we have a task to suit your interests and talents. Volunteer positions include: Special events and visitor host, garden help, clerical and front desk management, maintenance and preservation assistance, and research work.
