Satisfy your fascination with the past by sharing history with the community at beautiful antebellum Rosedale! Here’s a chance to work in a setting steeped in Charlotte history. Learn about our heritage and share your excitement with an interested public. We will give you the tools to become a knowledgeable and gracious interpreter of the past. Volunteers contribute to the success of Historic Rosedale in many ways.
Volunteer Interpreters help connect our visitors to the past. As a volunteer interpreter you will be trained to be a Historic Docent for Historic Rosedale and be involved in both educational and outreach programming. Volunteer Positions include: Tour Guide, Living History Performer, and Research Assistant.
Administrative volunteers are the backbone of our support staff. Administrative volunteers are trained to use their organizational and leadership skills to help make events and daily operations at Historic Rosedale run smoothly.
