Charlotte’s local history was shaped by the unheard voices and unacknowledged contributors of it’s enslaved population. Learn about life on a backcountry antebellum plantation through the eyes of Rosedale’s enslaved blacksmith, Nat Caldwell. The third in Rosedale’s Unheard Voices series, Nat will share about his life and that of his wife and children in the “big house.”
