First Anniversary Celebration for the Read It @ Rosedale program. Special guest author Susan Rivers joins us to discuss her bestseller The Second Mrs. Hockaday. Historic Rosedale was an inspiration to the author as she wrote this intricate and unique story. In addition to the book discussion, there will be a house tour with artifacts spotlight, book signing, and a light lunch.

Read It @ Rosedale Program : Reading connects and transports us to a different time and place. That experience becomes even more meaningful when it’s possible to encounter and interact with related historic objects and places while hearing little-known, yet meaningful stories. Read It @ Rosedale is part book club and part house tour. The program starts off in our historic basement kitchen with a moderator-led discussion of selected bestsellers. It continues with what makes this program especially unique; a specially-designed house tour, connecting the book with artifacts rarely seen outside our archives. This is much more than our traditional house tour!
Cost is $20 (early bird purchase, prior to 9/21) and $25 thereafter. All prices are plus sales tax. No refunds, event is rain or shine. Please bring your PayPal or credit card receipt to the event as it will serve as your ticket.
